Today’s Market Takes
Nvidia Bullish on H200 Chip Demand in China
"Reuters reported that Nvidia sounds out TSMC on new H200 chip demand. So, it's telling us right now we're hearing reports that the demand for H200 in China is insane. And to me, this is extremely, extremely bullish news. Now, on the negative side, we still have to see what China does – are they going to accept these chips or push for domestic AI chips? In my opinion, I think China's going to take them easily because they need these chips to continue developing in the AI market."
Jose Najarro Stocks
The speaker highlights robust demand for Nvidia's H200 chip in China and interprets the news as extremely bullish. Despite potential regulatory or market acceptance concerns in China, the expectation is that ongoing AI market growth will drive chip adoption, reinforcing Nvidia's long-term leadership.
Avoid Shorting Silver Amid Imminent Squeeze
"I do have a very strong suspicion that somebody's in trouble on the short side and that this is going to get squeezed much higher and that shorting it here would be suicidal. Um going long it here, you know, I think probably works for a while, but you might have to be nimble. I mean, it could run up to 200 and correct back to 100, right?"
Larry (Thoughtful Money (with Adam Taggart))
Larry warns investors that shorting silver is extremely risky given the potential for a massive short squeeze. He advises that going long on silver—while requiring nimble management—could be a more favorable approach as the metal may surge significantly before a corrective pullback occurs.
Conditional Sell Trigger on Revenue Deceleration
"Another reason why I would consider selling him is if revenues decelerate for like two to three quarters, like if it's now 598, it goes to 570, then 520, then 450 for the next three quarters, then I would potentially consider selling him. Because if they're not pulling this off right now with the amount of resources they have, then they will never be able to pull it off."
The Patient Investor
The speaker outlines a conditional exit strategy for HIMS. He specifies that if HIMS experiences a consistent decline in revenues over two to three consecutive quarters—illustrated by a drop from 598 to 570, then 520, and finally 450—this would be a trigger to sell the stock, as it would indicate that the company is failing to execute despite ample resources.
Tesla's Declining EV Revenue Raises Concerns Over Future Cash Flow
"for investors that pay attention to actual information and investors that value a business based on the present value of the expected cash flow that's expected to be generated for the future, then of course that's information that suggests that this business is worth a lot less than what it's selling for today. And so if your cash flow is decreasing, which is what's happening with Tesla, as the EV sales decline, its cash flow will decline. And simultaneously, it's investing billions of dollars for the development of these new technologies, which are not likely to generate positive cash flow in 2026, not likely to generate positive cash flow in 2027, not likely to generate positive cash flow in 2028, and maybe starting 2029, the driverless car business will grow to sufficient levels where it can achieve positive cash flow for the business."
Parkev Tatevosian, CFA
The speaker highlights that despite investor enthusiasm for Tesla's futuristic driverless and robotics segments, the company's core EV revenue is declining sharply, leading to deteriorating cash flow. This analysis suggests that when considering the present value of future cash flows, Tesla may be overvalued, especially as it invests heavily in new technologies that might not turn profitable for several years.
Micron Technical Trade Reflection and Strong Buy Commentary
"Now, I've gone over this one before. Personally for me, I'm not comfortable adding Micron. I have a very large five position in my Alpha Pix portfolio. It's one that I've added to. It's one that I've taken some profits on. And when we look at the chart here in Trendpider and you look at that, I traded down to the volume shelf. At 265, I did get I added at that 265. You're 292. And so do your research on it. It is a Seeking Alpha strong buy."
Host (Daily Podcast Recordings)
The speaker discusses his technical trade actions on Micron (MU), noting that he already holds a significant position and recently added shares at 265 with the chart indicating a level around 292. He labels Micron as a 'Seeking Alpha strong buy' and advises investors to conduct their own research.
That's it!
